Course series | Thursdays at 19:00
In an increasingly hectic world, many people find it difficult to really calm down. Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) according to Jacobson offers a simple yet effective method for reducing physical and mental tension in a targeted manner.
By consciously tensing and then releasing individual muscle groups, you learn to better perceive your body’s signals. Step by step, a state of deep relaxation develops – your nervous system calms down, stress is reduced and a feeling of inner balance can set in.
The course is particularly suitable for people who are under a lot of tension in everyday life, feel stressed or have difficulty switching off. At the same time, it is open to anyone who wants to take a conscious time-out and learn a relaxation technique suitable for everyday use.
Each session lasts 60 minutes and begins with a short arrival in a quiet atmosphere with a cup of tea to consciously shape the transition from everyday life to relaxation.
Through my work as a physiotherapist, I often come across people who suffer from stress, tension or inner restlessness. That’s why I completed the training course in progressive muscle relaxation, so that I can provide support here and create a space in which you can simply relax.
The tranquil surroundings of the historic Berum Castle support the relaxation process in a natural way and provide the perfect setting for this time-out.
