The wedding room and the wedding place in BurgPark Berum have seating for 30 people including the wedding couple. If you are expecting more guests, please clarify this in advance with the registry office in Hage.

They can be married in the open air in our castle park. Please state this request when you reserve your civil appointment and inform us at Hochzeit@burgberum.de on the day before your wedding whether the wedding should actually take place in BurgPark Berum, depending on the weather.

Yes! We look forward to welcoming you as guests in our house and BurgPark Berum even after the wedding. We would be happy to make you an offer according to your requirements. Further down on this page you will find information about what a celebration in the castle could look like.

We are happy to make the castle and park available to all couples who say YES to each other in the castle for a wedding photo shoot.
All public parts of the castle park can be used for this purpose. In the interior you can use the fireplace room, the wedding room and the entrance area of the castle.

No – unfortunately that doesn’t work with us! We ask our guests to refrain from both. Ascending balloons often get stuck in our old, tall tree population and can no longer be removed there. The rose petals are also difficult to remove from paths and squares. Soap bubbles are a nice alternative for rose petals!

We allow each of the couples who marry with us to enter or leave their wedding car. However, we ask you not to park your vehicle in the courtyard. There are plenty of parking spaces to the side and in front of the castle where you can park your vehicle.

If you want to spend time with us beyond the civil wedding and are thinking about a champagne reception, a coffee or a lunch, you have the opportunity to visit the wedding room and other rooms.
Please contact us by email so that we can make you an appointment proposal. Please always include the wedding date reserved at the registry office and a telephone number in the email.

A champagne reception, a meal together, a party or a whole wedding weekend? We are happy to plan for you and make you an offer according to your wishes.

We are happy to make the castle and the park available to all couples who say yes in the castle for a photo shoot. All public areas in the castle park can be used for this purpose. In the castle you can use the fireplace room, the wedding room and the entrance area of the castle.
We assume that a shoot takes about an hour and takes place after the wedding. If you are planning a longer shoot or want to take your photos at a different date, please contact us in advance.

Berum Castle has its own parking lot on the side of the courtyard entrance, and there are also plenty of parking spaces in front of the castle where you can park your vehicle safely and in the immediate vicinity.

You are welcome to take a carriage to the roundabout in the courtyard of Berum Castle. This is a very nice photo opportunity. However, we would like to ask you to inform us about the carriage ticket in good time before your wedding ceremony, if you want to drive on the premises. We also ask that the carriage does not wait in the courtyard during the wedding, but in front of or to the side of the castle.

You are welcome to accompany your wedding with live music. Please contact us in good time before your wedding ceremony and make sure to establish contact between us and the musicians. We are happy to help prepare the space for the musicians and, if necessary, provide electricity, light or a system should this be necessary.

No, unfortunately that will not work. We would be happy to make you an offer for a champagne reception after your wedding. Private champagne receptions are not permitted on the entire grounds of the castle, including the areas in front of the castle and the lawn on Burgstrasse.
